Lara earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts (concentration in Photography) from the George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Some of Her Favorite Artists are:

Cindy Sherman, Robert Mapplethorpe, Nan Goldin, Douglas Gordon, Julie Bell & Boris Vallejo, Salvador Dali, and Luis Royo.

Currently She:

- Is working w/ alternative darkroom processes including coffee & vitamin C as developing solutions.
